Guest Services Representative – JLL

What this job involves:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Guest Services Representative (permanent part-time) who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experience. This role is central to fulfilling JLL's mission of continually striving to surprise and engage consumers and retailers by consistently delivering a superior customer experience. As the face of our shopping centre, you will create memorable interactions while managing daily operations at Guest Services. This position offers the opportunity to be at the heart of the customer journey, building lasting relationships with both shoppers and retailers while contributing directly to the centre's success and reputation.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Greet and assist guests professionally by providing directions, information about store locations, amenities, and answering questions about centre services and promotional activities

  • Manage gift card sales and transaction reconciliation with accuracy while maintaining efficient service during peak shopping periods

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers by educating them about centre services and staying informed about their merchandise, sales, and special events

  • Support the Marketing Director with promotional events including ballot distribution and collection, sorting, gift-with-purchase programs, and special event coordination

  • Project a positive attitude in all communications, whether by phone or in person, ensuring every customer interaction is courteous and efficient

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the shopping centre's facilities, services, resources, and Crisis Management Manual procedures

  • Participate in special projects and assume additional duties as assigned to support overall centre operations

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service with a positive, friendly, and approachable demeanor

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with shoppers, retailers, management, and service providers

  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and maintaining high professionalism

  • Demonstrated conflict resolution and management skills with a solution-focused approach

  • Availability to work weeknights, weekends, and day shifts as required

  • Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multilingual abilities (an asset for serving diverse customer base)

  • Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service environments

  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and transaction processing

  • Knowledge of shopping centre operations and promotional activities

  • Experience supporting marketing events or promotional campaigns
