The Internal Communications Specialist supports the development and execution of internal communications, first class Associate Experience and delivery of change communications. Responsibilities will span both Mars Wrigley and One Mars UK communications, in addition to managing all community partnerships across Slough and Plymouth.
As key partner to the leadership teams, this role supports delivery of a number of visibility initiatives and translating their strategies into communications that inspire Associates that inspire and engage our 2,000 Associates across the UKI Market.
What will be your responsibilities?
Drive and embed the Mars Wrigley UKI business strategy by executing initiatives that engage internal stakeholders towards ambassadorship of the business vision, strategic business choices, and increase advocacy for our segment, business and brands.
Proactively work with the Internal Communications Manager to develop and drive the internal communication strategies and tactics that will engage and inspire Associates.
Ensure internal communication tools and channels are kept up-to-date, are engaging and reflect business messaging.
Implement and customise global and Mars Inc communications as appropriate for the Mars Wrigley segment and differing internal audiences.
Creation of internal communication announcements, articles, posters, presentations and other business communications to support senior business leaders.
Ownership of the Mars Wrigley UKI Community policy, donations, budget management and internal communications.
What are we looking for?
Experience in Communications and/or PR and a track record of implementing campaigns which achieved measurable results.
Leadership and Business Communications: Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Fluency in English and copy writing experience essential.
Ability to work collaboratively across functions and cultures in a fast-paced environment.
High level of planning, event and project management.
Excellent interpersonal skills and team player.
