[Summer Internship 2026] Finance Intern, RPA (Bangkok Based)

The opportunity: 

As a Finance RPA Intern at Agoda, you will gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge automation and AI technologies in a global, tech-driven environment. You will have the chance to work on real financial systems, assist in designing and testing automation workflows, and learn how RPA and AI are applied to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in core finance processes. Collaborating with experienced engineers and analysts, you will contribute to innovative projects and process optimizations, while developing practical skills with leading RPA tools. This internship offers valuable mentorship, exposure to industry best practices, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of financial automation.

In this role, you'll get to: 

• Build 2–3 flows for finance approvals/notifications, with run‑time monitoring and basic error handling; document each flow end‑to‑end.
• Develop one Blue Prism Object + one Process (e.g., data validation/reconciliation step), adhering to Control Room scheduling, work queues, and release conventions.
• Produce formal PDD/SDD packs for all automations (as per Agoda templates) including process maps, assumptions, exceptions, and test cases.
• Embed governance & compliance controls: participate in RnC walkthroughs, apply maker–checker, audit trails, and secure credential storage (e.g., Azure Key Vault for PA).
• Execute UAT and stabilize to BAU, capturing defect lists, exception‑routing rules, and rollback procedures; publish a go‑live checklist.
• Set up run‑time monitoring & support: Control Room dashboards/alerts for Blue Prism and flow analytics for Power automate

What you'll need to succeed:

• Currently enrolled as a 3rd-year student or below and will maintain student status throughout the internship period.
• Available to participate in the internship program from 22nd of May to 31st July 2026 (10-week program)
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365
• Great English communication skills in both spoken and written forms
• Structured logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong numerical acumen
• Positive attitude and openness to learn and adapt
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, multicultural environment
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript)

 

It's great if you have: 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Formulas and functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF) and Macros and VBA programming for automation
• Experience in workflow building
