What You'll Be Doing
- Assist with preventive maintenance and basic mechanical repairs on mobile and fixed equipment
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose mechanical issues under guidance
- Support mechanics with equipment servicing and part replacements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following safety procedures
- Document maintenance activities and communicate findings to the maintenance team
What Are We Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn hands-on repair and maintenance skills
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail in all tasks performed
- Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and accept feedback
- Dependable approach with the flexibility to adapt in an industrial environment
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
