Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

*   Provide technical and people leadership to multiple engineering teams 
*   Define and execute engineering strategy on modernization of the lending product.
*   Drive adoption of **cloud-native**, **API-first**, and **event-driven** architectural principles.
*   Build a culture of high performance, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Product & Delivery Management

*   Oversee full SDLC: requirements, estimation, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
*   Ensure predictable and on-time delivery of product releases with high quality.
*   Ensure engineering alignment with product strategy and customer commitments.
*   Prioritize engineering capacity, manage cross-team dependencies, and mitigate risks proactively.

Technology & Architecture

*   Lead modernization initiatives: microservices, event-driven patterns, container platforms, and distributed systems.
*   Own architecture governance, reference architectures, standard frameworks, and technical best practices.
*   Ensure secure design, compliance, resiliency, and high system performance.
*   Drive automation across CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, testing, and operations.

People & Stakeholder Management

*   Build and scale high-performing engineering teams across development
*   Coach and mentor senior engineering managers, architects, and leads.
*   Partner with Product, Implementation, and Customer teams for successful client outcomes.
*   Communicate engineering status and strategy to executive leadership.

Required Experience:

Technical Expertise

*   18+ years in software engineering; 7+ years managing large engineering teams.
*   Experience in BFSI, and preferably in Lending domain
*     Experience in building multi-tier architecture based applications
*   Experience in providing design decisions, and managing releases of a reasonbly complex product
*   Hands-on understanding of:
    *   Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
    *   Microservices, REST/gRPC APIs
    *   Event-driven systems (Kafka/Service Bus)
    *   RDBMS databases
    *   Modern UI frameworks (Angular)
* Working experience in building enterprise applications in the following tech stack : Windows/LINUX, JAVA, DB, Backend services(Springboot), Web UI using Angular(Nice to have), 

Other skills

*   Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
*   Ability to balance product innovation with operational excellence.
*   Highly analytical, organized, and execution-oriented.
