A Career with Point72's Technology Team

As Point72 reimagines the future of investing, our Technology team is constantly improving our company’s IT infrastructure, positioning us at the forefront of a rapidly evolving technology landscape. We’re a team of experts experimenting, discovering new ways to harness the power of open-source solutions, and embracing enterprise agile methodology. We encourage professional development to ensure you bring innovative ideas to our products while satisfying your own intellectual curiosity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Build the core user interfaces and backend services that power the firm’s treasury workflows, delivering high-performance tools that expose large datasets to traders and operations
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of new features: translate business problems into user-centric designs, implement front-end and back-end components, and ship to production
  • Shape the vision and roadmap for treasury user interfaces, driving decisions about data presentation, interactivity, and user experience
  • Develop single-page applications and reusable front-end components that make complex treasury data explorable and actionable in real time
  • Design and implement backend REST services with efficient server-side pagination and filtering to support large-scale client-side controls
  • Optimize performance and scalability across the stack, including data serialization, API throughput, and client rendering for large tables and charts
  • Collaborate closely with treasury stakeholders, quantitative analysts, and product managers to refine requirements, validate designs, and prioritize impactful features
  • Drive engineering quality through code reviews, automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment practices
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents, improve observability, and lead post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence
  • Mentor peers, share best practices, and help grow the Warsaw engineering team’s technical capabilities and product mindset

WHAT'S REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related technical field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience building production applications, with high proficiency in at least one .NET language (C# or F#) and demonstrated experience working within the .NET ecosystem
  • Experience designing and implementing backend services using ASP.NET Core, including REST API design and server-side pagination models to support large data sets
  • Proven experience building single-page applications in JavaScript and modern front-end libraries
  • Proficiency with TypeScript and React and hands-on experience with data grid and charting libraries such as ag-grid and Highcharts
  • Strong knowledge of serialization protocols and authorization/authentication mechanisms and how they impact performance and security
  • Experience working with relational databases and writing efficient queries against large datasets
  • Demonstrated ability to shape product UX and translate user needs into interactive, maintainable front-end designs
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards
