Job Summary
As a Finance Specialist within UPS, you will support the financial performance of the business by delivering accurate reporting, maintaining financial controls, and providing valuable operational and financial insights. Working closely with Finance and Operations teams, you will help ensure business decisions are supported by reliable financial information while contributing to efficient financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across the business. You will play an important part in monitoring financial performance, identifying trends and variances, and supporting initiatives that drive operational efficiency and cost optimization across the UPS network.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial and operational reports to support business decision-making.
Monitor budgets, expenditure, and financial performance, identifying key variances and trends.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting activities.
Conduct financial reviews and audits to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance.
Partner with Finance and Operations teams to provide financial insights and support business objectives.
Assist with process improvements that enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
Present financial information clearly to stakeholders, helping drive informed business decisions.
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
Experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, or business support.
Experience performing financial reconciliations, audits, or variance analysis is desirable.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
