We are currently looking for an Accounting Manager BeLux to take ownership of our accounting activities and further strengthen our operations.


As Accounting Manager, you are responsible for the accounting activities across multiple entities within the BeLux region (4 in Belgium, 2 in Luxembourg). You combine strong operational expertise with people leadership and act as a key link between the local business, shared services, and regional finance stakeholders.


In addition, you will play a key role in the ongoing transformation of our finance organization, taking ownership in the migration from SAP to JDE and ensuring continuity, accuracy, and alignment across systems and processes.


Your responsibilities

Team & organization

  • Lead and coach a team of 2 (Accountant and Financial Controller) based in Belgium and Luxembourg
  • Act as the main point of contact and ensure strong collaboration with the shared service center in Riga
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of all accounting activities and deliverables

Accounting & closing

  • Manage monthly and year-end closings across SAP and Oracle JDE
  • Review balance sheet accounts and monitor non-deductible expenses
  • Consolidate accounting data across systems and provide reporting to management and joint venture partners (Circle K & TotalEnergies)
  • Prepare and share consolidated reporting files with the shared service center for group consolidation
  • Support and optimize accounting processes for new business activities and flows
  • Ensure accuracy of tax coding on transactions and oversee specific approval flows, including manual payment requests

Tax & compliance

  • Act as key accounting point of contact towards the Sr. Tax Manager Mid Europe and support on tax-related matters (e.g. VAT, corporate income tax, intracom, transfer pricing)
  • Review key tax filings and ensure accurate and timely submission in line with Belgian compliance requirements
  • Prepare corporate income tax provisions (local GAAP and IFRS) and support related processes (e.g. advance payments)
  • In close collaboration with the Sr. Tax Manager Mid Europe, act as a key contact for audits and tax inspections, and ensure proper follow-up of statutory obligations

Processes & stakeholders

  • Play a key role in the SAP to JDE migration, acting as a central point of contact for accounting topics and ensuring data consistency and process alignment during the transition
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation and consolidation of accounting data across both systems during the transition phase
  • Act as the main point of contact for external auditors (PwC), coordinating audit activities and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of required information
  • Lead the preparation of annual financial reporting and provide key financial insights and base information for the Works Councils
  • Approve invoices and payments (Ariba, SAP) and ensure correct tax treatment
  • Support business stakeholders with accounting questions, investments, and new initiatives
  • Manage external interactions with authorities, auditors, and suppliers, including follow-up on official communications, VAT queries, penalties, fines, and legal matters (e.g. seizure notices)

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or finance
  • Experience in people management
  • Strong knowledge of Belgian accounting and tax regulations
  • Experience with SAP and/or Oracle JDE is an advantage
  • Analytical, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English and French; Dutch is a plus
