Assistant Manager – Accounting & Financial Reporting

At Apex Business Services (part of Apex Group), we’re growing and looking for an Assistant Manager to join our Accounting & Financial Reporting team. You’ll work with a varied client portfolio, lead teams across multiple locations, and gain exposure to complex, international business environments.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Own delivery for a portfolio of clients, including monthly management accounts
- Lead and review work from junior team members across global service centres (India and Mauritius)
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support complex client queries
- Oversee payments, reporting, and key financial processes
- Manage year-end deliverables including financial statements (UK GAAP and IFRS)
- Coordinate with auditors and internal teams to meet deadlines
- Support tax compliance (VAT, Corporation Tax, P11Ds, PSA)
- Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for growth
What We’re Looking For
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or final-year ACCA students with strong relevant experience
- Experience preparing management accounts, ideally in a multi-client environment
- Strong technical knowledge with a practical, solutions-focused mindset
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
- A collaborative team player with ambition to develop
