The Position
The Opportunity
The Integrated Medical Engagement Catalyst team is at the heart of designing and delivering modernised medical communication and engagement models. As part of the Global Integrated Medical Engagement chapter in PDMA, we focus on the evolution of medical engagement and the tools, processes, and mindsets required for the future. We bridge the gap between today’s standards and a future defined by personalised, scientific exchange.
As a Change Management Lead, you will be a "Catalyst" for organisational transformation. You will ensure that our medical network successfully navigates shifts in how we communicate and engage with customers by addressing both systemic requirements and day-to-day implications for individuals. This is a highly collaborative role, working across PDMA, GIME, and our global affiliate medical network to make our new engagement frameworks a sustainable reality.
Architect the Change Journey: Design and implement end-to-end transformation strategies that bridge the gap between initial design and sustainable business-as-usual adoption.
Lead Change Interventions: Serve as the primary change lead for major work packages, integrating human-centric plans into the technical delivery of new frameworks.
Drive a Future-Ready Culture: Foster a growth and experimental mindset across the medical network, empowering teams to move toward proactive, value-based relationships.
Ensure Sustainable Adoption: Establish and nurture a network of change agents and champions to drive adoption and ensure new frameworks are successfully scaled globally.
Design Learning Strategies: Execute learning strategies that upskill the workforce in digital fluency and insight-driven engagement for the future operating model.
Influence Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Commercial, Digital, and Technology partners to ensure a "One Roche" approach to the customer experience.
Uphold Ethical Standards: Ensure all activities follow legal, regulatory, and company codes of practice, including HCP engagement policies and Roche directives.
Who You Are
You are a visionary leader who thrives in complex, fast-changing environments and has a passion for guiding people through transformational shifts. You look beyond current processes to solve customer pain points and are skilled at translating technical shifts into human-centric value propositions. You are a natural coach and facilitator, able to navigate ambiguity and build trust across a global matrix.
To be successful in this role, you bring:
Expert Qualifications: An advanced life-science degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD) or equivalent experience in organisational development, alongside 5+ years of Medical Affairs knowledge.
Change Mastery: Proven experience applying structured change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter) to large-scale organisational shifts, preferably in an Agile environment.
Strategic Storytelling: The ability to craft a compelling "Case for Change" that connects transformation to higher business impact and the "Triple Win."
Matrix Fluency: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to speak the language of medical, digital, and commercial teams to drive a unified vision.
Problem-Solving Agility: Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, anticipate barriers, and focus on successful outcomes.
