Why this role is important to us

AI and automation are becoming foundational capabilities for how we run and improve our internal technology landscape. In this role, you will help SimCorp accelerate delivery and operational excellence by building AI-enabled automations and by ensuring our AI platforms are reliable, governed, and ready for scale.

You will work closely with platform engineers, operations teams and security to identify high-impact opportunities and implement complex end-to-end flows across SimCorp internal areas. You will combine strong engineering skills with AI platform know-how (e.g., Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry and Claude AI) to design, build, and operate solutions that are secure, observable, and maintainable.

Success in this role means owning and evolving an internal AI automation capability: designing reusable components, managing the AI platform lifecycle, and delivering complex workflows that reduce manual effort, improve quality, and strengthen compliance across both cloud and on-prem environments.

We aim to build complex, AI-enabled automations across CFO area. As part of a specialized cloud and platform team, you will join skilled peers and help establish standards, guardrails, and scalable delivery patterns.

What you will be responsible for

  • Design and deliver complex, end-to-end automation flows across SimCorp internal areas, from intake and orchestration to monitoring and continuous improvement
  • Manage and evolve the AI automation platform (e.g., Copilot Studio / Microsoft Foundry), including environments, connectors, deployments, access, and lifecycle
  • Build reusable automation components (APIs, runbooks, templates, prompts, agents, and libraries) to scale delivery and reduce duplication
  • Implement AI-driven workflows and agentic automations, integrating with internal systems and data while applying appropriate security, privacy, and governance guardrails
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and process owners to map processes, define success metrics, and embed automation into day-to-day operations
  • Operate what you build: establish observability, incident/runbook practices, documentation, and a backlog of improvements for the automation and AI platform

What we value

  • Strong engineering skills with PowerShell, Python, C# (or similar) and experience integrating via APIs, events, and identity/access patterns
  • Hands-on experience building and operating automation/workflow solutions in enterprise environments (cloud and/or on-prem), including monitoring and supportability
  • Experience with AI platforms and tools such as Copilot Studio and/or Azure AI Foundry, including prompt/agent design and responsible AI considerations
  • Ability to design scalable automation architectures and complex flows (orchestration, error handling, retries, approvals, and human-in-the-loop patterns)
  • Working knowledge of governance topics (security, privacy, data handling, auditability) and how they apply to automation and AI solutions
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to translate operational pain points into delivered, measurable automation outcomes

Compensation ranges are being disclosed at the initial stage of candidate engagement.
