Role Overview

As a Bar Waiter/Waitress, you are responsible for providing an exceptional and sophisticated beverage service. Whether serving a signature cocktail on our sun-drenched terrace or an après-hike refreshment in the lounge, you will ensure that every interaction is marked by the Aman standards of grace, efficiency, and personalized attention.

Key Responsibilities

• Beverage Service: Serve a wide range of beverages, including classic and contemporary cocktails, fine wines, spirits, and specialty coffees, with impeccable technique.

• Guest Engagement: Offer expert recommendations based on guest preferences, sharing stories behind our local ingredients and curated spirits.

• Bar Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the bar and lounge areas at all times, ensuring the "Aman look" is preserved.

• Mise-en-Place: Prepare garnishes, restock glassware, and ensure all bar supplies are ready for seamless service.

• Order Management: Handle orders and payments accurately using the POS system, ensuring a smooth and discreet transaction experience.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the Bartenders and the Sommelier to provide a cohesive and elevated beverage journey for the guests.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a high-end bar, cocktail lounge, or luxury hotel environment.

• Product Knowledge: Solid understanding of classic cocktails, spirits, and wine service.

• Languages: Fluency in English and Italian is required.

• Communication: Refined interpersonal skills and a natural ability to engage with a sophisticated international clientele.

• Agility: Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy terrace service hours.
