Inside the Role

The Manager of Integration and Coordination Trucks NAFTA Project Management Office (ICT TN PMO) leads the Regional Project Management Team within Truck Technology Software (TT/S) Organization. This role provides strategic direction, portfolio governance, and cross functional coordination across all ICT TN software and electronics programs. The position ensures alignment with the global Software & Electronics Development Process (SEDP), manages Production Year (PY) governance, and supports organizational efficiency and program readiness. The role also represents TT/S in all Regional DTNA vehicle development projects communicating and negotiating requirements along with hardware and software deliveries. This role will collaborate closely with the Global Product Managers in all regions as well as DTNA Product Strategy and Engineering Platform Management.

Position offers a starting salary range of $128,000 – $164,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Lead the ICT‑TN PMO team and oversee execution of the ICT‑TN program portfolio across all Production Years.

  • Implement and manage the PY‑based governance model, including assignment of PY Leads, Release Coordinators, and Project Responsible roles.

  • Ensure alignment with SEDP deliverables, quality gates, and engineering milestones.

  • Coordinate program planning, cross‑functional alignment, and milestone readiness with engineering teams, customer domains, and EPM.

  • Support development and delivery of PMO strategy materials, leadership workshops, and organizational improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain visibility of program status, risks, and dependencies across Launch Groups and technical content teams.

  • Provide portfolio reporting and structured input for executive reviews and strategic planning sessions.

  • Collaborate closely with all Global Product Managers in all regions along with Product DTNA Product Strategy and Engineering Platform Management

 

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 6+ years of program or project management experience in automotive, software, or electronics.

  • Experience with structured development frameworks (SEDP, systems engineering, release management).

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across complex, cross‑functional engineering teams.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

 

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Experience within TT/S, ICT, or similar Daimler Truck Engineering organizations.

  • Knowledge of Software and Electronics Development Process (SEDP) or experience developing Software or Electronics using Agile or similar process

  • Knowledge of Daimler Trucks Commercial Vehicle Development Process (CVDS) or similar waterfall project management systems

  • Knowledge of Production‑Year governance, feature rollout plans, and milestone‑driven development.

  • Prior experience with global alignment and multi‑region engineering coordination.

  • Commercial Vehicle Operational Experience
