The Opportunity 

We are currently building a talent pool for future Android opportunities across Engineer to Lead levels within our team. This is an opportunity to be considered for upcoming roles and contribute to shaping the future of Sysco’s customer experience from the ground up. 

Responsibilities: 

• Working on apps that revolutionize customer interaction at Sysco 

• Being responsible for driving the development process from conception to release in a cross functional team in an Agile delivery environment 

• Starting at the ground level and develop the future of Sysco’s customer experience 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and for SE - 1-2 Years, for SSE 2-4 Years, for ATL 4-6 Years and for TL 6-8 years of experience developing on Android 

• A passion for Android and a commitment to building award-winning apps 

• An expert-level understanding of the Android SDK 

• Preferred experience with Retrofit, RxJava or KotlinFlows/Coroutine, Dagger 2 and Jetpack Compose 

• A track record of publishing apps in the Google Play Store 

• A passion for building consumer facing applications with elegant and clean interfaces 

• Experience developing, testing, shipping and supporting a product for hundreds of thousands of users is a plus 

• Knowledge of GraphQL and Apollo is an added advantage
