About the role
The role is part of the Accounting Transactions Team and will be responsible for supporting the asset team with general asset duties.
Responsibilities
- Execute fixed asset accounting processes in line with policies and procedures.
- Perform project capitalizations.
- Maintain mailboxes and action any ad hoc queries in respect of assets.
- Raise manual journals as necessary.
- Respond to queries/request from external auditors.
- Perform detailed capital work and global reconciliation across multiple systems, including Clarity.
- Generate and distribute routine fixed asset reporting.
- Update budget limits on projects, create projects in SAP.
- Assist with assets additions, disposals, WBS set ups.
- Assist in fixed asset cycle counts, budget and forecast tasks.
- Support continuous improvement plans and projects.

Experience Requirements
- Experience in accounting and finance
- Experience in global scientific/pharmaceutical industry / Shared Service environment highly desirable.
- Experience in SAP and Asset Accounting highly desirable.
This position is a hybrid role requiring onsite working 3 days per at our Liverpool (Speke) office.
