About the role
As an Application Support Specialist reporting to Senior Director, Systems Operations, you'll play a critical role in operating and evolving Nasdaq Nordic's post-trade systems. You'll ensure the stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of our platforms while working closely with technical owners and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
Handle incidents end-to-end, including participation in on-call rotations for major incidents and planned operational activities.
Deploy releases and manage configuration and change activities across environments to ensure seamless operations.
Act as a subject-matter expert for application behavior, integrations, and operational questions.
Proactively monitor systems to identify and resolve issues before they impact production.
Collaborate with technical owners and cross-functional teams to meet service level agreements and support business initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Experience in IT operations, application support, or a similar technical role.
Hands-on experience supporting enterprise messaging or middleware platforms (e.g., IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, TIBCO EMS, ActiveMQ, or similar).
Proficiency working in Linux and Windows environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear, professional communication in English.
Ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional team environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with IBM MQ and/or SWIFT Alliance systems or integrations.
Scripting or programming skills, with an understanding of enterprise networking, virtualization, and security best practices.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, IBM MQ, SWIFT, or Agile).
This position will be located in Vilnius and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay for this role is €3,500–€4,300 per month. The actual offer will depend on factors like your skills, experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base pay, we offer short-term incentives (bonus or commission) and long-term incentives (equity), where applicable.
