The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Join a world-class Internal Audit team at a global organization as an Audit Associate (m/f/x)*. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build your career at Solventum within a high-performing internal audit team and support SOX compliance and internal control best practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and passionate about growing in the areas of internal audit and risk management.
As an Audit Associate (m/f/x)*, you will perform SOX and internal audit testing within the Center of Excellence (COE) under the supervision of senior team members and in collaboration with the US-based team. You’ll build on a strong foundation in control testing, risk assessment, and process documentation while supporting the delivery of a high-quality audit program.
Here, you will make an impact by:
Performing SOX and internal audit testing under the guidance of senior team members
Participating in walkthroughs and documenting key process steps, risks, and control activities
Executing control testing procedures, gathering and validating evidence, and maintaining quality workpapers
Supporting the evaluation of control deficiencies and assisting with remediation tracking
Ensuring testing and documentation are completed accurately and within required timelines
Collaborating with peers and process owners to enhance understanding of business processes
Contributing to standardization and efficiency efforts within the COE
Demonstrating curiosity, accountability, and a commitment to learning and professional growth.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
2–3 years of SOX or internal audit experience
Big 4 or internal controls background preferred
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Basic understanding of US GAAP, COSO, and SOX requirements
Pursuing ACCA, CA or CPA certification strongly preferred
Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills
Detail-oriented with excellent documentation practices
Eagerness to learn and grow in a global, fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with high-quality output
Work location: Wrocław, Poland
Travel: May include up to 15% domestic/international
