Job Description

Job Description

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Pricing Analytics Lead to support day‑to‑day pricing activities across our EMEA business. You will help monitor market and competitor developments, maintain pricing data and models, and provide clear, data‑driven insights that support commercial teams. Beyond the EMEA pricing team, you will liaise with Technology, Business Intelligence, Finance, Marketing, and Sales.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data and able to turn analysis into straightforward, practical recommendations. Your work will focus on evaluating pricing opportunities, performing margin and revenue analyses, and supplying reliable input that helps guide informed pricing decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

The role holder will be expected to be responsible for the following:

  • Initially, the role will support the EMEA pricing transformation project by carrying out analyses and running impact simulations across customers, products, and countries.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviour to identify pricing opportunities and support pricing updates and routine price reviews.
  • Conduct margin, profitability, and scenario analyses across products, customers, and markets.
  • Prepare and present pricing insights, recommendations, and reports to commercial and leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams to align pricing tactics with broader business objectives.
  • Support contract pricing, discount structures, promotions, bids, and deal reviews with data-driven recommendations.
  • Monitor pricing performance, identify anomalies, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide inputs to enhance pricing models, tools, and dashboards to support data-driven pricing decisions.

This role is extremely varied; therefore, the job description is not exhaustive and the role holder will be required to participate in other duties as required by the business.

Job Skills & Experience Required:

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

Qualifications:

  • Degree-level education in Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or training in Analytics or Statistics is advantageous.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in pricing, modelling, statistics, finance, or similar analytical roles.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in data modelling, forecasting, and statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools and systems such as Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, or Python.
  • Experience analysing competitor pricing, market trends, and customer value propositions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Person Specification:

We believe the type of person best suited to this role will be:

  • Highly analytical, curious, and data-driven, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Collaborative and engaging, able to work closely with multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and methodical, ensuring accuracy in all pricing analyses and recommendations.
  • Innovative, continuously identifying new ways to improve pricing processes, tools, and models.
