We’re seeking a detail-oriented and analytically curious Finance (FP&A) Intern to join our Finance team. This role provides hands-on experience supporting financial planning, forecasting, and business analysis activities that drive strategic decision-making. You’ll partner closely with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze data, build reports, and contribute to key financial processes. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, comfortable working with data, and motivated to build a foundation in corporate finance within a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses

  • Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes

  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and insights

  • Help build and maintain financial models and reporting dashboards (e.g., Excel)

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to collect and validate financial inputs

  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support business initiatives and leadership requests

  • Assist in improving reporting processes and documentation for efficiency and accuracy

Who you'll bring:

  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Basic understanding of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)

  • Familiarity with financial systems or data tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, or similar) is a plus

Required and Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

  • Strong academic performance (preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher)

  • Prior internship or coursework in finance, accounting, or data analysis (Preferred)

  • Experience working with Excel or other data analysis tools (Required)

Reports to: Director, FP&A

Key Partners: Finance, Accounting, Business Operations

Work Environment

This role operates in a remote environment aligned with eHealth’s virtual work model, with no travel expectations.
