Job Title: Endoscopy Tech
Unit: Endo Center

Employment Type: Per Diem

Shift: Night Shift (5pm-7am)
Location: St. Mary Medical Center

Position Purpose

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assists in providing nursing care to a designated patient population in collaboration with other members of the health care team.

Unit Overview

Endoscopy Center

As an Endoscopy Tech, you will

  • Applies principles in adhering to sterile technique

  • Assists physician with equipment during procedures

  • Handles specimens according to policies and procedures

  • Participates in the evaluation of new supplies, equipment and instruments

  • Chooses correct method and time frame for high level disinfection and sterilization of equipment

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent

  • Prior Endo experience required

  • Endo tech certification preferred

  • BLS
