Position details
The Loan IQ Functional SME role will provide functional support to project deliverables, including liaising with business teams driving implementation of functional responsibilities as part of planned project deliverables and seeking to assist across project obligations to add value throughout various stages of the project.
- To deliver a reliable, robust, sustainable Loan IQ by leveraging best practices adopted by other financial institutions.
- To provide expert functional input to the design of the Loan IQ
- To provide management oversight to ensure the business teams are well supported across business lines.
- Given Loan IQ centricity within the technology; to actively work with other teams to ensure consistent and efficient Loan IQ service is provided to downstream systems owners.
- Work alongside both business and technical teams create and maintain documentation relating to functional design.
- Experience writing Business Requirements and Functional Specifications
Roles and Responsibilities
- At least 12+ years of experience working with Loan IQ Platform, good to have ACBS application knowledge.
- Demonstrated previous experience in handling requirements from different regions like EMEA, UK and APAC.
- Demonstrated knowledge in Visio, confluence, Jira tools to support daily activities.
- Conduct study on existing process and interface including system landscape.
- Provide guidance on native LIQ functionality including Customer onboarding, deal building, trading, fee management, repayment schedules, ARR, GL entries, lender shares, outstandings, events, collateral, document tracking, amendments and change transactions etc.
- Drive booking model definition and workflows for different Wholesale Lending products
- Loan IQ Configuration and Accounting Mapping definition workshops
- Prepare detailed business requirement documents and get relevant approvals.
- Provide support or prepare test planning and execution support with trackability.
- Migration strategy definition, planning and support including clear mapping exercise.
- Analysis of specific issues and proposal of solution options to broader stakeholder group for decision.
- Collaborating with Loan IQ migration or integrations leads across UK, US and APAC regions to identifying requirements and defining mappings.
- Manage requirements in adherence to standards and governance to enable effective project management and delivery across a large program.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts, both verbally and in writing, such that they can be understood by a wide range of people.
Education / Qualifications:
- ISTQB certification or equivalent
- CBAP certification or equivalent
- Good to have CSM, CSPO, JIRA certifications

- Robust interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaboratively interact with various levels of the organization
- Motivated contributor with ability to take initiative, set priorities, work efficiently/accurately within an atmosphere of frequently changing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills.
