Commercial Operations Associate
The Commercial Operations Associate provides essential administrative and transactional support to the Commercial Operations team. This role is responsible for accurate data entry, order processing, system updates, and basic reporting that enable timely customer support, order fulfillment, and revenue operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in systems and spreadsheets in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Enter purchase orders and related commercial transactions into internal systems with a high degree of accuracy
- Maintain and update order statuses, customer records, and pricing details
- Support invoicing workflows by ensuring data completeness and accuracy
- Assist with basic issue resolution related to order discrepancies or missing information
- Serve as a support resource for customer inquiries related to order status, documentation, and basic transactional questions
- Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Logistics, Finance) to ensure timely and accurate processing of commercial activities
- Track and follow up on outstanding requests to completion Data Management & Reporting
- Perform routine data entry, cleanup, and validation across commercial systems
- Generate basic reports (e.g., order volumes, transaction counts, backlog status) using Excel or internal tools · Maintain organized digital records and documentation to support audits and reporting needs Process & Administrative Support
- Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) for commercial transactions · Identify data or process issues and escalate as needed
- Support ad-hoc administrative tasks and team initiatives as required
