Role

The bartender is a Food and Beverage specialist that ensures the highest level of service and hospitality to all guests that visit the bar lounge, not to mention promising the smooth and efficient operation of the bar including cocktail preparations and service.

Responsibilities

• Execute Bar and Lounge operation on daily basis, being able to take any workstation in the bar lounge including waiter in charge, food runner, and reception.

• Work with Chief Mixologist/Lounge Manager to create and maintain appropriate and creative menus, especially the selection for cocktails and liqueurs.

• Assist Chief Mixologist in setting up annual seasonal promotions and events, collaborating with the Chef de Cuisine and Pastry Chefs when necessary.

• Take initiative in communication and negotiation with business partners i.e. importers, suppliers and brand ambassadors.

• Ensure all guest/colleague comments and concerns are effectively resolved.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Bartender in the hospitality industry.

• Possess a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks smoothly.

• Fluency in English and Japanese, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
