About this Position

Responsible for managing the end-to-end vendor lifecycle (onboarding, contracting, renewals, optimization, and offboarding). This role partners with business leaders to develop and execute a category strategy that optimizes licensing models, manages vendor risk, ensures compliance with our third party risk management program, to deliver measurable financial value to the company.

The role is accountable for developing business-outcome-based category strategies, ensuring vendor capabilities, pricing models, and contract structures align to prioritized enterprise objectives and financial targets.

The role partners closely with IT, Legal, Finance, Information Security, Risk, and Business stakeholders to lead RFx strategies, negotiate complex agreements, redline contracts, and proactively manage high-velocity renewals. Acts as a commercial and contractual subject matter expert for assigned category and represents Strategic Vendor Management in senior-level and executive discussions related to sourcing decisions, vendor escalations, and renewal strategy.

This role is hybrid in Duluth, GA.
This role is not eligible for sponsorship.
The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $135,000.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute SaaS & software sourcing strategies aligned to IT and business priorities
  • Drive cost savings, licensing optimization, vendor consolidation, and platform rationalization
  • Lead RFx, contract negotiations, and renewal planning to maximize value and mitigate risk
  • Manage supplier performance, including SLAs, usage metrics, and QBRs
  • Oversee end-to-end vendor lifecycle (onboarding, renewals, compliance, offboarding)
  • Ensure contract compliance, licensing governance, and alignment with risk and security requirements
  • Partner cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Legal, and Risk to support sourcing and transformation initiatives
  • Deliver reporting on spend, savings, renewals, and supplier performance


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years in technology sourcing, procurement, or vendor management (SaaS focus)
  • Proven success negotiating complex contracts and delivering cost savings
  • Strong financial, analytical, and project management skills
  • Experience with SaaS licensing and contract lifecycle management
  • Ability to influence stakeholders in cross-functional environments
  • Familiarity with procurement/CLM tools and analytics platforms
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM)
  • Experience in financial services or regulated industries
  • Expertise managing enterprise SaaS vendors and strategic suppliers
  • Experience developing category strategies and leading complex negotiations
  • Background in vendor transformation or rationalization initiatives
  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder influence
