Job Summary
ERM is seeking a motivated Junior Consultant to join our Liability Portfolio Management & Remediation (LPMR) team. The role involves supporting contaminated site investigation and groundwater remediation projects, delivering high-quality technical work, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in environmental consulting and work on challenging projects for global clients.

You will help deliver high-quality work that drives impactful programs for our clients, while building strong relationships and contributing fresh ideas to evolve our services. Responsibilities:

  • Conducted Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessment, soil and groundwater investigation and remediation, asset management etc.

  • Focus on team project delivery, taking direction primarily from Project Managers.

  • Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments.

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with all national and local regulations.

  • Communicate with project team members, subcontractors, regulators, where needed, and clients during field activities.

Requirements:

  • Masters in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science or engineering, or related discipline.

  • 0-1 year of experience, including willingness/interest in field assignments, GIS and database management.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus.

  • Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols.

  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

  • Ability to succeed in a consulting pace, handling multiple project assignments, and maintaining flexibility, while meeting strict deadlines.

  • Strong Chinese and English writing and speaking ability.
