Real Estate Rotational Analyst

Program Overview  

The Nuveen Rotational Program offers an exciting mix of strategically aligned assignments, professional development, and the ability to experience and gain exposure to many facets of our organisation. The environment is challenging, hands on, and full of growth opportunities.  Candidates can expect to work within the investment teams and learn the techniques, disciplines and processes that deliver high quality results for our investors/clients.  

The program begins in September 2026.  

Program Highlights 

This is a 2-year rotational program. As part of the program, you will have the opportunity to get grips with everything within the Real Estate Group. You will gain hands on experience across the business with the opportunity to have rotations within different sectors of Real Estate.   

You will have the opportunity to;  

• Contribute to production of investment memorandums; 

• Research and analyse industry trends, competitors, and product characteristics to support product development activities; 

• Prepare product presentations, proposals, and recommendations; 

• Respond to inquiries from external business partners, as well as business partners across the organisation. 

You will have unique networking opportunities and access to Nuveen Senior Leadership; experience ongoing personal and professional development opportunities and participate in financial services and behavioural based training.   

What skills & competencies we require:

• You will need to have attained at least a notable grade (7.0 – 8.9) from a university (or equivalent) and have graduated by August 2026. 

• Investment Management Knowledge & Interest: Academic background or demonstrated interest in Real Estate E.g. Relevant coursework; active participation in investment clubs; managing a virtual portfolio; following market commentary; reading financial news

• Technical skills: Preferably have prior experience of coding such as VBA, and/or familiarity with Python and Bloomberg is a plus.

• Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise written and verbal communications tailored to different audiences. E.g. You should be comfortable in preparing client ready emails, delivering presentations to a small group of your team or writing reports that inform decision-making.

• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in team settings by actively listening to others' perspectives, contributing constructively to group discussions.  E.g. You should be able to adapt your working style to help deliver team goals & objectives.

• Critical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to understand business problems from multiple angles, identify key drivers of outcomes, and propose solutions that balance competing priorities. E.g. Be able to demonstrate interest in understanding investment principles and how client needs align with product offerings.

• Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong competency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & advanced in Excel). E.g. Creating financial models, using pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, data visualization, building scripts for data analysis, and automating tasks.

• Initiative and Ownership: Track record of taking ownership of projects or responsibilities without constant supervision.  E.g. You should be able to proactively identify problems and propose solutions, ensuring regular communication with where appropriate.

• Language Requirements: fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal)
