The Supply Chain Specialist serves as a main point of contact between divisions and corporate governance for strategic alignment of supply chain processes. This role drives governance execution, process standardization, and performance visibility through data-driven leadership. The specialist leads cross-functional projects and ensures executive readiness for governance reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage KPI governance across key supply chain metrics including Inventory Above/Below Entitlement, Slow-Moving Inventory, End-of-Life Inventory, Delivery, and Quality metrics.
- Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies to balance cost efficiency and product availability.
- Identify and mitigate excess or obsolete inventory risks through proactive analysis and collaboration with Procurement, Planning, and Operations.
- Lead or support projects that deploy new tools, capabilities, and process improvements across the supply chain.
- Serve as a liaison between divisions, corporate governance, and analytics teams.
- Maintain performance dashboards and trackers to monitor progress, risks, and improvement initiatives.
- Validate data accuracy, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure timely, reliable business insights.
- Facilitate Workstream, Steering Committee, and Executive Meetings, ensuring clear accountability and action tracking.
- Communicate insights and progress effectively to drive alignment and informed decision-making.
- Identify and execute opportunities to enhance process efficiency and data visibility.
- Share best practices, support onboarding activities, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related to supply chain.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain governance, analytics, or planning.
- Proven experience with Power BI and Business Intelligence (BI) tools and experience working with at least one ERP system.
- Desirable experience working with SAP, as well as knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and lead change.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills; executive communication experience preferred.
- Professional certifications (CSCP, CPIM, or Lean Six Sigma) are highly desirable.
- Valid Passport and USA Visa required.
