Job Description:

Schedule: 30 hours/week, 7am- 5pm, every other weekend, every other holiday

The Administrative Associate performs a variety of computer, clerical, and supply functions necessary for the operation of the nursing unit.  Responsibilities include handling and controlling written and verbal communications between nursing unit, personnel and numerous physicians, ancillary services, patients, visitors and families, and the organization of the patient medical record.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School graduate. Successful completion of Administrative Associate training or previous medical secretary/medical records experience preferred. Medical terminology preferred. Computer experience required. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

 

 

Pay Range:

$19.05 - $25.64

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
