About the Job:
The Real Deal is looking for a Sales Account Executive to join a rapidly growing media company focused
on real estate journalism and headquartered in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a track
record of closing new business and at least 2-3 years selling advertising solutions with a consultative
approach. Typical deal size ranges from $10K - $100K/year.
Long-term we expect you to increase revenue generated from local and national Real Estate and
Endemic industry Advertisers, significantly grow our portfolio of local accounts, drive and oversee the
successful launch and execution of our premier Real Estate industry events and build sales of our online
advertising products.
What You'll Do:
Prospect, develop, and grow new business across multiple channels: digital, print, and live events
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
Use CRM tools (HubSpot) to track activity, forecast revenue, and report on sales metrics
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate ad delivery, trafficking, and billing
Develop strategic account plans in coordination with sales leadership
Represent the company at key industry events and build relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders
What You Bring:
Must be based in or willing to relocate to New York City
3–5 years of advertising/media sales experience in a client-facing role is must
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Experience with sales CRMs, campaign reporting tools, and a good grasp of digital media metrics
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work well under pressure
Familiarity with event sponsorship sales is a plus
