Job Description

This is a senior hands‑on role responsible for operating and stabilizing complex middleware platforms while supporting a controlled transition away from legacy tooling (not expanding it).

What You'll Do:

  • Provide deep technical ownership for middleware/integration platforms (Camunda, n8n.io, webMethods, IBM SFG/MFT, Oracle integration & Mainframe Integration services).

  • Lead platform upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and risk-reduction initiatives.

  • Act as escalation point for complex production issues spanning middleware and downstream systems.

  • Improve operational rigor: monitoring, runbooks, automation, and DR readiness.

  • Mentor engineers and influence platform standards across the Middleware Platforms and Teams.

  • Leverage and expand usage of GenAI tooling to drive efficiencies across the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in enterprise middleware platforms with background in development of integration components

  • Experience supporting large integration estates (hundreds of integrations).

  • Solid understanding of security, networking, certificates, and identity integration.

  • Solid understanding of deploying microservices and platforms in Kubernetes Platforms

  • Experience with building and using DevOps Tooling and CI/CD Pipelines

  • Proven ability to operate under high‑impact incident conditions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with B2B/EDI and managed file transfer platforms.

  • Comfort operating in mixed legacy + modern environments.

  • Strong experience with GenAI Developer tools like Claude Code, Codex or similar

Desired Certified Credentials

  • Certified AWS Solution Architecture – Professional

  • Certified AI Practitioner

What We're Looking For:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required. 

Experience: 10 years of relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
