About the Role:

We're looking for an Associate Director, Field Reporting and Analytics on the Field Strategy and Operations team to help us expand what's possible for patients with serious diseases. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Field Strategy and Operations, you'll serve as the lead for insight generation and performance reporting for Insmed's Sales and Market Access field teams — ensuring our field teams are equipped with the right data and insights to drive key business decisions

What You'll Do:

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape and lead a comprehensive reporting and analytics strategy that empowers Insmed's field teams with actionable insights. You'll also:

  • Lead insight generation and performance reporting for Insmed's Sales and Market Access field teams, working closely with the Manager, Sales Reporting and Manager, Market Access Field Reporting
  • Proactively identify needs and utilize data sets to develop reports and identify trends for leadership, including ad hoc presentations and new report requests
  • Work with Data Strategy, Insights and Analytics, and IT to enhance dashboards and reports that provide field teams with robust analytics
  • Develop a long-term reporting road map in partnership with IT to support the franchise model and the evolving needs of the field team
  • Establish standardized processes for capturing business requirements and downstream execution of requested reports to cross-functional partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including IT, Marketing, Sales, Commercial Effectiveness, and Market Access to enhance data reporting capabilities and address data inconsistencies
  • Obtain information from Sales and Market Access regional leaders to provide a robust view of overall trends and opportunities at the subnational level
  • Perform in-depth analyses utilizing various data sets including patient-level Specialty Pharmacy data, Patient HUB data, MMIT payer information, and third-party data sets
  • Analyze reports at a National and Regional level to provide insights into targeting opportunities and answer the "So What" and "What If" questions from business partners
  • Lead the development of regional insight creation and collaborate with field force effectiveness for recommendations to updates in execution and strategy

Who You Are:

You have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline along with 8+ years of pharma/biotech industry experience and 3+ years of field force/commercial analytics experience, OR an advanced degree with equivalent experience. You are or you also have:

  • SQL and Snowflake proficiency, along with high proficiency in BI tools such as Qlik required

  • Highly skilled in MS Excel with experience extracting detailed data sets, concatenating, and analyzing; proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Access required

  • Strong attention to detail in dealing with data sets, dashboards, and reports required

  • Advanced presentation and communication skills required

  • Strong understanding of business drivers for field sales, field reimbursement managers, and Key Account Directors required

  • Ability to translate data into field force opportunities, successes, and landscape assessments, with experience in pharmaceutical launches and orphan/specialty drug commercialization preferred

  • Understanding of pharmaceutical data (e.g., specialty pharmacy, payer, Symphony claims, MMIT) preferred

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and creative problem-solver with the ability to communicate effectively across all areas of the Commercial organization and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment

Where you'll work:

This is a hybrid role based out of our Bridgewater NJ office. You’ll have the option to work remotely most of the time, with in-person collaboration when it matters most.

Pay Range:

$155,000.00-201,500.00 Annual
