Serve as a resource at the UNMC/Nebraska Medicine Community Wellness Collaborative and on campus as directed in obtaining/sharing available resources for the community to address social drivers of health to improve their health and wellness. Promote and assist the community in resources available for career pathways on campus.

Required Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience required.

• Minimum one year experience working on social drivers/determinants of health and available resources within Douglas County required.

• Completion of Community Health Education didactic training or experience with SODH required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in human services or related field preferred.

Broad knowledge of available local, state and federal programs for assistance in meeting basic needs (food, housing, access to health care, transportation, Medicaid/Medicare, drug assistance programs) preferred.

• Knowledge of health care and mental health/substance use programs in the area preferred.
