Job Title: Sample Production Associate
Location: McCook, IL
Reports to: Sampling Production Supervisor
Position Profile
The Sample Department Production Associate supports daily operations in the sample production area by preparing materials, assembling product samples, performing quality checks, and ensuring timely completion according to the production schedule.
Principal Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
- Assemble and package product samples according to specifications and order forms.
- Prepare materials (cutting, labeling, measuring, sorting) for sample creation.
- Follow established production procedures and quality standards.
- Operate basic equipment or machinery used for sample fabrication.
- Inspect samples for visual and functional accuracy before release.
- Identify defects or inconsistencies and report them to the Sample Production Supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure contamination-free sample production.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED, or equivalent experience required.
- Use of light machinery and sitting/standing for extended periods.
- Ability to follow written directions, diagrams, and production specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
