Your role at Baxter:

As a Automation Coordinator you'll responsible for planning, organizing, directing, supervising and perform tasks related to automation area. You'll responsible for the production of parts for machinery. Additional responsibilities include installing and maintaining equipment, leading contracts, coordinating with other departments and training.

Also, is responsible automatic machines operation and supports. In addition you'll actively participate in technical troubleshooting’s, implementing and evaluating automations projects and technologies.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinates the realization of all automation technical operations including the management of equipment, machine, tooling, fixtures and peripheries.
  • Coordinatesd labor in the machine shop and automation laboratory.
  • Reading and interpreting drawings of mechanical parts.
  • Handling of measuring instruments (indoor and outdoor micrometer, caliper, gauges, etc.).
  • Ensure integrity and good use of the equipment and tools assigned to his position.
  • Must install and integrated new machines.
  • Must repair and provide maintenance to equipment and machinery.
  • Must provide training to turner and milling machine technicians.
  • Observe all company and regulatory EHS requirements.
  • Learn and practice basic ergonomic principles to reduce job-related discomfort and injuries.
     

What you'll bring:

  • Technical or bachelor’s degree (Mechanical / Machinist / Mechatronic) or related field.
  • 5+ years related experience.
  • Ability to discuss normally encountered technical issues.
  • Ability to work as a collaborative team member.
  • Ability to solve routine parts design, cad problems with assistance.
  • Able to interpret drawings of mechanical parts manufacturing, identifying materials, shapes, dimensions, tolerances and surface finishes.
  • Technical english.
