More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as an Biodiversity Impact Management Intern in Amsterdam with Signify.

In this role, you will be supporting the team in assessing and managing the biodiversity and nature-related impacts and risks of our operations, supply chain and products. You will report to the Due Diligence Manager in Signify and work closely with colleagues responsible for environmental impact, sustainable products, sustainable operations, and sustainable supply chain, as well as people outside of the sustainability department. Your responsibilities include:

  • Support the review of the biodiversity impact and risk assessments across our value chain.

  • Evaluating updated global frameworks such as TNFD, SBTN, and other nature-related standards.

  • Support the monitoring and review of the mitigation and action plans, with a focus on the supply chain and product-use phase.

  • Conducting benchmarking and analysis of best practices in biodiversity impact management.

  • Connecting with internal and external stakeholders to drive improvements and collaboration.

More about you

  • Currently enrolled in an environmental studies program or a related field.

  • Knowledge of biodiversity and nature impact assessment methodologies.

  • Familiarity with global frameworks such as TNFD and SBTN.

  • Project management skills and an interest in transformation and change management.

  • Attention to detail, proactive, hands-on approach.

  • Analytical skills.

  • Good English - both writing and speaking.
