About the role
Air Liquide Europe Business Services (ALEBS) was created in 2019 in Lisbon, Portugal with the mandate to provide financial services for Air Liquide European entities. In the space of 4 years, it has expanded to over 400 employees based in 3 office locations: Lisbon, Tomar and Guarda. The geographical scope was extended to include, besides the European affiliates also entities located in Africa, Middle-East and India, and the operational scope was extended and includes today not just Finance, but also Human Resources.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Analize and manage costumer accounts portfolio's
Investigate customer historical in order to establish credit limit and support local teams to define customer contracts
Decrease Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and reduce overdue documents
Contact Customer via different channels in order to solve financial queries and collect unpaid invoices
Review C&C (Credit and Collection) policy and give improvement inputs to local market
Contact Customer via different channels in order to solve financial queries and collect unpaid invoices
Confirm and propose Write Offs and Bad Debts to Legal department
Request customer refunds
Release sales orders requsted by Sales team
Collaborate with Billing department in order to solve invoicing issues
Analyse customer account and send Account statements and Dunning Letters
Guarantee that monthly collection targets are achieved
Manage and prepare month end reports in order to define the collection strategy for the next month, i.e., DSO, Ageing, T-CLT (Top Overdue customers)
Perform KPIs and analyse data to mitigate risks and improve business results

Are you a MATCH?
Degree in Accounting / Financial / Management / Economy (Nice to have)
More than 4 years in similar function
Experience in Business Services Center is a plus
Experience in a multinational company is desirable
Intermediate in English (written and spoken)
Extra languages are valued (e.g. Arabic; Spanish; French; Italian; German; Swedish)
