Highlights:
Summary: The Mental Health Technician shall provide patient care at the direction of the Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse. The Technician shall be responsible to assist patients with activities of daily living, and to assist with admission and discharge procedures. This individual shall lead or serve as co-facilitator for patient groups, as well as to orient new patients to the unit environment. The Technician shall complete safety/location checks of all patients, and other care functions as assigned by the Charge Nurse.
