Confirmed live in the last 24 hours
VELUX Group
Job Description
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketplace Specialist to help operate and improve our presence on major online marketplaces across Europe. You’ll keep product listings accurate, support campaigns and launches, and ensure a smooth and reliable customer experience on platforms such as Amazon, Allegro, and other regional marketplaces.
Join the VELUX Group — a global leader in sustainable indoor living — and help us create better online experiences for healthier homes.
The Role
As Marketplace Specialist, you’ll play a key role in managing our product presence across multiple external ecommerce marketplaces in Europe.
You’ll handle the day-to-day execution of marketplace operations — maintaining product listings, managing catalogue data and product feeds, supporting promotions and launches, and monitoring listing performance and compliance with platform requirements.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in precision and enjoys being the link between content, marketing, sales, customer service, and technical teams. You’ll help ensure that our products are accurately represented, visible, and performing well across all marketplace platforms.
You will be part of a small international team managing multiple marketplace channels. You can be based in Budapest or Warsaw with a hybrid schedule, and you can expect some limited travelling.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update marketplace product catalogues and listings across multiple European markets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with platform requirements.
Manage product data, attributes, images, and pricing information across marketplace feeds and listing systems.
Support new product launches and promotional campaigns on marketplaces from setup to go-live.
Monitor listing quality and catalogue health, identifying and resolving issues related to content, pricing, availability, inventory, or product attributes.
Test and validate listing updates, feed changes, and marketplace requirements to reduce errors and improve speed-to-market.
Track and report marketplace performance indicators (e.g. sales, availability, content compliance, conversion) and highlight improvement opportunities.
Escalate technical or operational issues with clear documentation and follow-through.
Contribute to improving processes and templates that support scalable marketplace operations across Europe.
What We’re Looking For
2–3 years’ experience working with marketplace or ecommerce platform operations.
Hands-on experience managing one or more major marketplaces (e.g. Amazon, Allegro, eBay, Kaufland, bol, Cdiscount, Otto or similar).
Experience working with integrators to manage product feeds, catalogue data, and listing management in a multi-market environment.
Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with confidence handling large datasets.
Comfortable working with content in multiple languages (language fluency not required).
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and reliability in managing multiple tasks.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
Who You Are
You’re structured, methodical, and enjoy ensuring things run smoothly.
You balance a commercial mindset with a hands-on approach — comfortable switching between operational tasks and analytical thinking.
You’re proactive in spotting and solving issues before they become problems.
You value teamwork, clear communication, and continuous learning.
You care about delivering a seamless marketplace customer experience and take satisfaction in seeing everything work as it should.
What We Offer
You’ll join an international ecommerce organisation focused on delivering consistent and high-quality digital experiences across Europe.
Reporting to the Shop Operations Manager, you’ll support the growth of our marketplace business by improving catalogue quality, listing performance, customer experience, and operational reliability across our marketplace platforms.
We offer a collaborative and supportive team culture with an informal tone, where knowledge is shared and initiative is valued. You’ll have the tools, guidance, and opportunities you need to succeed and develop in a truly global ecommerce environment.
