Job Summary

Supports Sales by delivering technical expertise and creative lighting solutions tailored to each project. Produces detailed designs for effective implementation and advises on optimal applications that balance aesthetics, functionality, and innovation—driving customer satisfaction and sales success.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Delivers value-driven lighting solutions across the full design process—from concept to detailed execution—enhancing functionality, aesthetics, and mood through creative, consultative approaches.
• Designs and implement solutions for all project stages with deliverables such as lighting calculations, CAD drawings, bills of material, conceptual presentations, and technical layouts. 
• Achieves desired light effects using the product portfolio and advanced tools like DIALux, Relux, visualization software, AI, and BIM. Combine technical precision with creative direction, integrate sustainability, and stay ahead of emerging trends.

• Collaborates on the development of smart tooling to streamline workflows and improve customer engagement. 
• Support Sales and Management in pre-sales with impactful presentations, training, and product recommendations—demonstrating light as a consultative selling tool to win tenders.
• Provides expert guidance on lighting technologies—connected lighting, well-being, safety, optics, and sustainability—ensuring compliance with standards. Drive customer satisfaction and sales through tailored solutions and collaboration with Marketing, Product Management, and R&D to represent innovations accurately.
• Stays current with technology and market developments. Shares knowledge internally and externally through universities, lighting associations, and industry networks. Acts as a recognized subject matter expert in application, photometry, and product performance. Feeds market insights to Product Marketing to maintain a competitive portfolio and foster knowledge growth. 
• Plays a strategic role with specifiers—trusted advisors and go-to experts in multiple markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with the external lighting design community to strengthen influence and engagement.
• Participates in pilot installations, mock-ups, and demonstrations of innovative solutions, while maintaining updated design libraries and documentation.

Critical Experiences•

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building and or Interior Design, Architecture, Lighting Design, or a related technical field to understand the project design process, lighting principles and product applications.

• Worked on advanced tools like Dialux Autocad, Dialux evo, Relux, Photoshop
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales support or application engineering within the lighting industry, with proven expertise in lighting solutions and customer engagement.

•Experienced in the lighting design of road lighting, façade lighting, office and industrial lighting, and TV broadcasted stadium lighting.
• Certification in the field of lighting (e.g., Certified Lighting Designer or equivalent) and/or an active member of a lighting association. To validate technical proficiency and credibility in product performance and application.
