Key Responsibilities:

Fire Safety Operations

• Monitor and maintain all fire protection systems including: Fire Alarm System Sprinkler System Hydrant System Fire Extinguishers PA System Smoke Management System

• Ensure all firefighting equipment is operational and properly maintained.

• Conduct routine inspections of fire pumps, hydrants, hose reels, extinguishers, and emergency exits.

• Attend and respond to fire emergencies and rescue situations immediately.

Safety Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Fire Department norms, NBC guidelines, and statutory requirements.

• Maintain Fire NOC and related documentation.

• Conduct fire risk assessments and safety audits.

• Ensure all observations from audits are closed within timelines.

Emergency Preparedness

• Organize fire drills, mock drills, and evacuation exercises.

• Train employees and emergency response teams on fire safety procedures.

• Prepare emergency response plans and evacuation procedures.

• Coordinate with local fire authorities during emergencies.

Team Management

• Supervise firemen and shift staff.

• Prepare duty rosters and manpower deployment.

• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.

• Ensure discipline, attendance, and performance monitoring of fire staff.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of: Fire drills Equipment testing PM schedules Incident reports Training records Safety inspections

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

• Investigate fire incidents and submit root cause analysis reports.
