Opportunity Overview:
We’re hiring a Manager, Business Intelligence to lead our India-based BI team and drive high-quality, reliable delivery across reporting and analytics. You will directly manage a team of BI Engineers and Analysts (7 members), serving as the operational backbone for our global BI function. Reporting to the Director of Data and AI. You’ll partner cross-functionally with global teams to deliver insights that directly impact providers, patients, and clients. This is a high-visibility role with strong growth potential, ideal for a player-coach who can go deep technically while driving speed, accountability, and high-quality execution across the team. We’re looking for a strong operator who can bring structure and discipline to fast-moving priorities, making clear trade-offs, and maintaining delivery momentum without sacrificing quality. What you’ll do:
- Define and execute the Business Intelligence roadmap, aligned with company and client needs while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and contractual alignment
- Lead and manage a team of BI Engineers and Business Analysts, enforcing clear ownership, SLAs, and accountability.
- Act as a senior partner to Product, Operations, and Client teams, translating complex asks into structured work products for the team
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in data pipelines, reporting workflows, and team execution
- Build scalable, reusable reporting frameworks and KPI layers across the organization
- Champion a self-service analytics culture while maintaining governance and data integrity
- Implement robust processes for data validation, reconciliation, and monitoring
- Drive data quality, metric standardization, and governance across all reportin
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years in BI / Analytics / Data Engineering
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Prior experience working in a global setting, partnering closely with US-based BI leadership, Product, and Operations teams
- Deep expertise in Agile execution and Jira-based delivery management:
- Backlog ownership, sprint planning, ticket triaging, and prioritization
- Ability to manage frequent re-prioritization without delivery breakdowns
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- SQL (advanced) and data modeling (dimensional / star schema)
- Tableau and/or Amazon QuickSight
- Modern data stack: dbt, Athena (or equivalent), Airflow (or orchestration tools)
- Demonstrated experience building scalable data models and KPI layers
- Ability to debug issues across the full product and data stack independently
- Strong stakeholder and client-facing communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience working with healthcare datasets (claims, UM/PA workflows, EMR)
- Prior experience operating in high-change technology startup environments
- Background in healthcare tech, payer, or delegated UM environments
- Experience building metrics/semantic layers
- Exposure to AWS cost and performance optimization
- Experience scaling BI platforms for external/client-facing reporting
- Familiarity with data governance and metric standardization practices
