Motion and Animation Design Intern

About the role

We're building AI infrastructure from the ground up – energy, data centers, manufacturing, and cloud. Fully integrated, from electrons to tokens. Our in-house creative team tells that story and motion is central to how we do it.

We're looking for a Motion & Animation Design Intern to join us for a hands-on, project-based internship. You'll be embedded with our design team working on real projects across brand, marketing, and product. Not prep work. Real work.

You'll contribute to motion and animation projects across social, marketing campaigns, brand, and product experiences. You'll animate in Figma and Adobe workflows, collaborate with designers and writers in creative reviews, and help maintain consistency across our motion system. If you have ideas, bring them. We celebrate when we find a better way.

What you’ll learn

• What it's really like to work inside a startup design team: the pace, the process, and the collaboration.

• How motion integrates across brand, marketing, and product design to create cohesive experiences.

• End-to-end design workflows using Figma, Adobe tools, and animation software

• How a design concept moves from brief to final shipped asset.

• How to work alongside senior designers and creative leadership, giving and receiving feedback.

What we're looking for

• Currently studying Design, Motion Design, Animation, or a related field graduating between December 2026- Spring 2027.

• A portfolio showing motion work (experiments welcome)

• Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects

• Strong visual design fundamentals — layout, typography, composition

• Ability to move fast and iterate on feedback

Bonus points

• Experience with Lottie, Rive, or lightweight web animation; product/UI motion; basic video editing.
