Job Description:
A Registered Respiratory Therapist possesses the clinical expertise for assessment of patient/client respiratory equipment needs and for the selection and troubleshooting of appropriate equipment and/or services provided to meet those needs. They are also skilled in instructing patients and/or caregivers on the care and use of equipment/supplies/therapies associated with respiratory care and disease management along with creating care plans for respiratory care and disease management. This care is provided in the home environment, hospital, clinic or Home Support office. Education: ▪ Required: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program Experience: ▪ Preferred: 2 years clinical and 1 year home care experience Skills: ▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ▪ Able to work well with the public ▪ Strong analytical/problem solving skills. ▪ Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment. Licensure/Certification/Registration: ▪ Required: Missouri Respiratory License AND Class E Driver’s License within 30 days of hire AND Must have RRT credentialAplyr's read
