About the role

The Division of Emergency Medicine at Cincinnati Children's is dedicated to advancing child health and transforming the delivery of care.

Our faculty and staff physicians are practicing the highest level of medicine at our 7 state of the art facilities: Main and suburban ERs, and 5 urgent care sites.

As the sole pediatric acute care facility in our area, we serve a diverse population of over 2 million people with over 170,000 encounters annually. 

Faculty and staff in the Department of Pediatrics receive a competitive salary with excellent benefits to foster wellness, maximize savings, and prepare for the unexpected. CCHMC funds a defined contribution retirement plan at 10% of compensation up to annual IRS limits.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree

  • Current active medical license issued by the State of Ohio or eligible for license

  • Appropriate medical credentialing through the Medical Staff Services offices

  • Completion of all required pre-employment activities

  • Clinical Instructor appointment or eligibility

  • Prior clinical practice experience may be required based on area of clinical specialty
