The Opportunity
We are seeking a Student Administrative Assistant to provide general administrative support to multiple departments across the organizations for the summer. This is a temporary, in-office position running from June to August 2026 (exact dates to be confirmed based on program scheduling). This position is ideal for a post-secondary student who has completed at least one year of studies and is interested in gaining hands-on experience in a professional office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to various teams across the organization.
  • Assist with document preparation and standardization, including formatting files, applying templates, organizing content and following established naming and filing conventions.
  • Maintain electronic and physical records, including filing, scanning, and document organization.
  • Assist with basic data entry, update spreadsheets, and maintain tracking logs or records.
  • Respond to routine administrative requests and direct inquiries to appropriate team members.
  • Support special projects and assist with general office tasks as required.
  • Handle information with care and maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive or proprietary materials.
  • Other related administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a university or college program.
  • Completion of at least one year of post-secondary studies.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily in‑office role with flexible in daily start and end times to support scheduling needs.
  • Physical demands may vary and could include extended periods of standing, sitting and occasional bending or lifting of objects.

The hourly wage for this role is $18/hour.
