Innovation Strategist I EMEA

  

Through this role you have the opportunity to join a team who is redefining business development in entreprise software, with automation. We have the ambition to become the most effective in the market. In this role you are positioned to work closely with Account Executives and Pre-sales teams, to discover opportunities and develop them into revenue-generating client solutions. You will be responsible for strategically identifying key decision-makers at companies matching our target market and helping to grow our customer base across the EMEA market in designated industries verticals, through consistent outreach and engagement. 

A successful candidate is someone with a Master's degree in a business, marketing, quantitative, supply chain,  or engineering discipline. You will bring your intellectual curiosity and drive to make an impact that will enable you to seek and understand the supply chain challenges of potential customers and speak to how our solutions can assist. 

We have evolved from a start-up into a global scale-up, creating exciting opportunities for growth within our Business Development team. As we continue this journey, you will take on increasing responsibility over time, deepening your expertise and impact within the Business Development function.

Working in a truly global organization, you will collaborate across time zones and partner cross-functionally with teams such as Product Management, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success. Over the longer term, there may also be opportunities to take on broader responsibilities, both within Business Development and beyond.

What you’ll do

 ● Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the EMEA market through marketing campaigns, event marketing, social media activities 

●  Building a prospect database and communication strategy using LinkedIn and other supply chain business sources, continually striving to be innovative in your outreach approach

 ● Working cross-functionally with the Industry Sales Leaders, Account Executives and Solutions Engineers to initiate introductory meetings with your assigned industry prospects and partners, conducting some limited demonstrations of the o9 platform 

● Responsible for increasing the number of qualified opportunities in the pipeline

● Responsible for contributing to increased win-rates in the competitive cycles that are generated from the pipeline.

● Responsible for owning Top of the Funnel activities inclusive of partners, executive council engagement, events and other standard outreach strategies

​● Partnering with the o9 Creative team to create innovative content and ideas for outreach strategies as well as continued community engagement events in various markets

 ● Industry research on SIM or Retail in EMEA to understand customer trends & pain points to better know what they really need

● Maintaining up to date prospect and client information via the Salesforce CRM platform

● Networking and sharing best practices with the Innovations Strategist teams in NA and India  

 

What you’ll have

● Education: Master's Degree, preferably in a business, engineering, supply chain or a quantitative field 

● Experience: 0-2 years within a top tier consulting firm 

● Skills: 

- Basic understanding of supply chain planning concepts would be a plus, but eagerness to learn and develop in the field of supply chain 

- Proficient use of GSuite/MS Office, LinkedIn 

- Experience with CRM and lead generation software (e.g. Salesforce, Apollo) would be a plus
