Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Paediatric Audiologist to support NHS paediatric audiology services in Lincoln. This role is ideal for a clinician with strong expertise in paediatric audiometry for children under 5 years, working in line with NHS processes and standards. The post offers the opportunity to work within complex paediatric testing environments as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver paediatric audiological assessments for children under 5 years.
- Perform VRA, otoacoustic emissions, and tympanometry in line with NHS protocols.
- Assess, manage, and follow up paediatric patients with hearing difficulties.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical records.
- Work collaboratively within paediatric audiology and MDT services.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Audiology or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in paediatric audiometry (essential).
- Experience with VRA, OAE, and tympanometry for under‑5s within the NHS.
- Minimum 3 years’ NHS experience (desirable).
- Experience in paediatric hearing aid assessment and fitting (desirable).
- Experience acting as a Lead Audiologist in complex paediatric settings (desirable).
- Strong clinical judgement, communication, and organisational skills.
