Brain Co.
Job Description
About Brain Co.
Brain Co. is building the infrastructure that turns advanced AI research into real-world impact. We work at the frontier of productionizing AI for complex, high-stakes environments — particularly in government and regulated industries where manual workflows still dominate. Our mission is to make AI systems reliable, scalable, and dependable in the real world: robust platforms that support complex workflows, empower customers, and production-grade reliability at scale.
At Brain Co GovAI, we're passionate about solving problems at the intersection of government and commercial — the hard, high-stakes challenges that shape how communities grow and how critical services reach people in need. From construction permitting to healthcare to finance, the industries that underpin modern life are still running on fragmented, manual workflows. We believe we can change that.
About the Role
This Product Manager role offers immediate, full ownership—from initial ideation to final execution. You will be responsible for translating complex business challenges into clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs). This involves close collaboration with our engineering, data science, and design teams to manage the build, launch, and iteration cycles.
A key part of the role is working directly with our diverse customer base, including government agencies and enterprise clients, to strategically determine both what is built and why. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments, can bring structure and clarity to ambiguity and greenfield spaces, and enjoys turning complex ideas into clear, executable plans.
What You'll Do
Drive product execution and vision within Brain Co.'s Government and Commercial AI initiatives
Own a product initiative end-to-end — from discovery and scoping through design, development, and delivery
Incubating new product and business opportunities that underpin our mission and goal
Write crisp PRDs and translate problems into actionable technical requirements
Conduct regular discovery conversations with customers, and surface insights and inform the roadmap
Groom the product backlog and drive prioritization in partnership with engineering, design, and data science
Measure impact, gather feedback, and iterate continuously
What We're Looking For
6+ years of product management experience
Proven track record leading products end-to-end — from ideation through requirements, launch, and iteration
Experience developing a product roadmap and a demonstrated history of executing against it
Experience with workflow and automation systems
Hands-on experience grooming backlogs and driving structured prioritization frameworks
Direct customer and client engagement — you've had real face time with users and know how to turn those conversations into product decisions
Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering, marketing, sales, legal, design, and data science teams
Experience at a startup or high-growth company; comfortable going 0 → 1
Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and operate with a high degree of ownership and urgency
Bonus Points
Experience working with government, public sector, or regulated industry clients
Background in land use, construction, or development workflows
Familiarity with complex, workflow automation solutions
Who Thrives Here
We move fast, hold ourselves to a high bar, and care deeply about real-world impact. While we ask a lot, we recognize that growth is ongoing — we welcome candidates who are hungry to learn and bring their whole selves to the work.
Extreme Ownership — You act with high agency and urgency, and drive the change you wish to see.
