About the Role:
Nurse Educator – Critical Care
Full-Time | Day Shift | NGMC
Join Northeast Georgia Health System as we advance our Magnet® journey and commitment to nursing excellence. We’re seeking a Critical Care Nurse Educator to lead unit-based education, support staff development, and promote high-quality, patient-centered care.
This role serves as a clinical and educational resource, supporting orientation, competency validation, and ongoing learning for critical care teams. Partners with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to strengthen evidence-based practice, quality outcomes, and patient safety. Provides direct patient care as needed.
Requirements:
- Active Georgia RN license
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum 3 years RN experience
- At least 3 years Critical Care experience required (Cardiac preferred)
- Professional certification in a clinical or education specialty
- Professional organization membership.
Preferred:
- NPD-BC certification
- Master’s Degree
- Previous educator or staff development experience
