Step into a role where your expertise truly matters. As an Expert Support Consultant, you’ll be at the heart of our Universal Banking team, supporting major retail banking clients and ensuring the stability of business-critical systems used every day by millions of end-users.

What You’ll Do 

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for our Universal Banking platform. 

  • Investigate and resolve complex production issues by analysing logs, simulating scenarios, and validating solutions in local environments. 

  • Collaborate closely with Development and Product teams, providing clear analysis and contributing to solution approaches, test planning, and code reviews. 

  • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication, expectations management, and high quality service delivery. 

  • Maintain and improve existing modules while supporting continuous enhancements. 

  • Work flexibly to support customer needs, including occasional shifts and travel. 

What You Bring 

  • Functional expertise in banking, ideally in retail banking or payments

  • Experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBOSS application servers. 

  • Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, or MSSQL

  • Familiarity with Core Java concepts (primarily for analysis and review). 

  • Working knowledge of UNIX commands and basic scripting for investigations. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for different audiences. 

  • Strong analytical thinking and a customer-focused mindset. 

Nice to Have 

  • Background in IT, Computer Science, or similar technical fields. 

  • Experience supporting financial services platforms or production environments. 

  • Comfort working across global, cross-functional teams.
